Drawing (4 sessions)
In these courses students will learn pencil, charcoal, ink and pastel drawing techniques. By studying classic themes - portrait, static nature, schetches of the human body, composition - and also self-chosen themes, students will learn how to express the proportion, perspective and materiality of objects.
Painting (4 sessions)
The three sessions about painting in watercolours - aquarelle, tempera, acryllic - and an introductive session about oil painting are necessary for becoming familiar with the materials and techniques of work, as well as with the artistic styles and chromatic relations.
Modelling (2 sessions)
PGoing through the various stages of modelling is important for understanding the techniques of rendering the volumes. Common clay, modelling clay, plasticine, wax and soft wire are the materials the students are going to use in order to tranpose their ideas into raised pattern, bas-relief and ronde bosse.
Collage (2 sessions)
The technique of the collage is a real exercise of the imagination! Any idea can be transposed into collage by using different materials, textures and colors. For instance, by combining pieces of newspaper or various photos, poster titles, fragments of painted leather, one can produce compositions of genuine artistic value.
